In this art project, film and fine arts are combined. The movie tells a story about a girl who has just started her studies in a class for painting under a highly renowned professor. She experiences ups and downs, the circus within the academy, and the harsh realities of the art market outside of it. The film paints a realistic portrait of life at the academy while also sparing no criticism. It is authentic and partly autobiographical, as the filmmaker, Camilla Guttner, studied there herself. To support the realization of her well-appreciated idea, we have created a website where real art pieces by the artists featured in the film are showcased for an exclusive audience and are available for purchase.
